Interdisciplinary
Inter-connected
Fostering a community of learners & teachers
An artiste is multi-faceted is required to wear multiple hats. This is why we are pushing the conventions of teaching Bharatanatyam through our workshops to provide interdisciplinary experiences for our students and our community!
All of our workshops are online to accommodate global students and arts enthusiasts outside of our Indisha student family!
Our workshops are unique in that we bring aristes, academics, and professionals from both arts and outside of arts to cover topics that often support and enhance a student’s skill-set but ones that are not explicitly taught in the traditional Bharatanatyam syllabus.
We want to make sure that our students are equipped with a variety of skills that will help them not only be self-sufficient future artistes, but also respect and appreciate the supporting roles and skills that enhance our art form. We believe many of these skills are often essential to any professional journey in any domain of their choice!
