Student of Smt. Indu & Sri Nidheesh & Smt. Bragha Bessell

Raksha Devanathan started learning Bharatanatyam from the age of 8 under Indisha Fine Arts. She has completed her Bachelors in Engineering and is pursing her MA in Bharatanatyam. Currently Raksha is faculty at Indisha at the Valasaravakkam Branch, and continues to be one of the lead dancers of this institutions. She has many solo and group performances to her credit, and has taken part and won in several competitions in and around India. She has toured with Indisha and has performed overseas under various banners. She feels blessed to receive guidance and support from her gurus and continues to strive towards greater heights in learning this art form deeply.
